Almost 300 years old, this inn is well known for miles around and is a labour of love for its owners and staff. There are twelve practical rooms and suites with a shared bar and bathrobes, and a rooftop suite with separate living room and sofa bed. Excellent gastronomy in an atmospheric setting with conservatory, open hearth and summer terrace. There are also various seminar rooms and banqueting/ballrooms. Free Wi-Fi and parking.

A former convent located right by the River Aare with a view of the Jura and Solothurn old town. The hotel was opened in 2005 with 16 comfortable rooms, conceptualised with a design-oriented clientele in mind. The Aaregarten Restaurant combines traditional cuisine with modern influences and rediscovered dishes from culinary Switzerland.
