中世からの歴史を誇る有名なグリュイエール・チーズの産地のひとつ。グリュイエール村の郊外にあるモレゾン山では、山上の険しい草地に牛たちを放牧し、しぼりたてのミルクをつかってアルプでつくるチーズづくりの伝統が今に受け継がれています。 標高1132m、モレゾン山にある1686年に建てられたという山小屋では、薪で火を燃やし大きな鍋を使っておこなう昔ながらのチーズづくりを見学することができます。
