中世からの歴史を誇る有名なグリュイエール・チーズの産地のひとつ。グリュイエール村の郊外にあるモレゾン山では、山上の険しい草地に牛たちを放牧し、しぼりたてのミルクをつかってアルプでつくるチーズづくりの伝統が今に受け継がれています。 標高1132m、モレゾン山にある1686年に建てられたという山小屋では、薪で火を燃やし大きな鍋を使っておこなう昔ながらのチーズづくりを見学することができます。

アイガー、メンヒ、ユングフラウを望むトゥーン湖南岸に建つ古城。1846年から1854年にかけて、ヌーシャテルの銀行家ドゥニ・アルフレッド・ド・ルージュモンの依頼で建てられた夏の別荘で、現在は歴史を今に伝えるホテル・レストランになっています。日本・スイス国交樹立後に日本からスイスへの最初の公式訪問となった1867年の徳川昭武使節団で渋沢栄一たちが招待され、ユングフラウの眺望を楽しんだというトゥーン湖畔の富豪の邸宅というのがこの城でした。
