The junior-suites and suites as well as the rooms, the majority with view on the 140 ha park, are equipped with the most modern comforts including air-conditioning. Savour culinary delights prepared by the Chef Othmar Schlegel whose cuisine has been awarded with 18 GaultMillau points and one Michelin star. The delicacies are served in the restaurants “Locanda Barbarossa” and “Tre Stagioni”. Services available: Castello “SPA & Beauty” with sauna, gym, swimming pool, whirlpool, hydropool, a spa suite, solarium, beauty, massages and hairdresser. 4 outdoor and 2 indoor tennis courts, private beach.

Opgenomen worden in een wereld vol zuidelijke charme en Zwitserse perfectie. Een 110.000 m2 groot park met een privéstrand, 6 tennisbanen en een tennishal, 2 paviljoens met luxe suites. In het Castello SPA & Beauty centrum wordt gewerkt met VineaSole, een eigen cosmeticalijn, waarvan de ingrediënten voor een deel uit de Rebbergen van het hotel zelf komen. Het “Locanda Barbarossa” heeft 18 GaultMillau-punten en 1 Michelinster.

The Castello del Sole is within easy driving distance from the international airports of Zurich, 2.5 hours and Milan Malpensa, 1.5 hours. The Lugano-Agno Airport which caters to flights within Europe is just a 45 minute drive. Locarno Magadino Airport for helicopters and private planes is just a 15-minute drive from the hotel. The railway station is located in Locarno and is just a 10-minute drive away. Arrival by car: Exit Bellinzona south / Main road direction Locarno/Ascona, exit Ascona / First circle in Ascona, first exit / Next turn left and continue straight / At the next crossing turn right into Via Ferrera / At the next crossing turn left into Via Muraccio / Follow the signs "Castello del Sole".
