ベルン駅前に18世紀からあった歴史的なホテルを前身として、1859年に「ホテル・シュヴァイツァーホフ」として創業。以来、何度も改修を繰り返しながら、スイスを代表する名門ホテルとしての地位を確立してきました。2011年4月にモダンデザインで完全リニューアルしたホテルは、贅沢なバスルームのある広々とした部屋が99室。客室や新しいスパルームなどスタイリッシュですが、第2次世界大戦の頃に開業したグルメレストラン”の先駆けといわれたレストラン「ジャックス・ブラッスリーJack’s Brasserie」など、伝統も随所に残されています。

The 800 sqm large Salon Trianon (Ballroom), the three salons and several small meeting rooms provide the ideal infrastructure for exceptional events and conferences. Thanks to the hotel’s private driveway and separate entrance to the Salon Trianon (Ballroom), your event can take place in a sophisticated and elegant setting. All the conference rooms are equipped with state-of-the-art technology and can be combined in a variety of ways. The completely renovated 5-star-superior hotel in the center of Berne is a fusion of grand tradition with contemporary flair, noble design and exclusive service. The new Schweizerhof offers 99 stylish rooms and suites, an 800m2 conference center with a stunning ballroom, the Jack’s Brasserie restaurant and the sophisticated Lobby-Lounge-Bar, the Cigar Lounge, the elegant Sky Terrace with a 360° panorama view over the UNESCO world cultural heritage of Berne, and the Spa, a 500m2 wellness.

A luxury hotel and first-rate business meeting point in the heart of the federal capital. Antique interior and state-of-the art design in 99 rooms and suites with W-LAN, flat-panel TVs, Nespresso machines, rain showers etc. In addition, the suites are equipped with small kitchenettes. The Schweizerhof offers 7,200 square feet of highly professional facilities for meetings, seminars, banquets etc. The new wellness, spa and pool area scheduled to open in 2012 will cater to our guest’s sensual well-being.

The Swiss capital can easily be reached by car, train or by air via the Berne-Belp international airport. Directly opposite the main railway station, the hotel benefits from excellent connections. The unique old-town and all the important sights are literally just around the corner.
