Intro

The museum is housed in the rooms of the former Klingental Dominican convent. It displays original medieval sculptures from Basel Cathedral.

For weddings, meetings or concerts: The Museum Kleines Klingental on the Kleinbasel shore of the Rhine offers an atmospheric setting for any event. The rooms available for rent have an unmistakably historic feel as the museum is situated in the original building – completed in 1274 – of the Klingental Dominican convent. The rooms available – the Schaffneistube, the Kleines Refektorium, Grosses Refektorium and the Klosterhof – constitute a tranquil oasis in the heart of Kleinbasel.
