Historic 16th century castle nestled in magnificent parkland. Light and airy, well-equipped seminar rooms for 10 to 250 people - the Scharnachtal Pavilion in the Park. Creative activities such as flag throwing, motorbike tours, wine tasting, archery, torchlight hikes, and milk can fondue. 27 boutique rooms in the castle, the 22 comfortable rooms in the new wing have direct access to the park grounds or a balcony. Just 20 minutes from Bern and Thun.
The historical Von May Hall and modern Haller room enjoy views of the beautiful castle gardens and are the perfect place to celebrate your special day. Wedding ceremonies and receptions in the castle gardens are also possible – we will be happy to accommodate you. Only seasonal and regional products are used in the restaurant - whenever possible in organic quality. The wine cellar is stocked with over 180 different biodynamic or organic wines and invites you to linger and enjoy.
