Venue

On a rock on the shores of Lake Geneva lies Chillon Castle. The moated castle is the most visited historic building in Switzerland. For almost four centuries, Chillon was the residence and profitable customs station of the Counts of Savoy. The castle can also be rented and offers an impressive location for various occasions. Montreux can be easily reached by boat, bus or on foot.

Chillon Castle at a glance

The imposing moated castle has been enthroned on a rocky island on the shores of Lake Geneva near Montreux for almost 1000 years. The complex includes 25 buildings, three courtyards and underground vaults. Visitors marvel at 14th-century murals, magnificent halls and the dungeon immortalised by Lord Byron in "The Prisoner of Chillon".
