In fact, it isn’t really a hotel at all. It is more of a palazzo – at the same time, Giardino Lago is likely the most charming restaurant with rooms overlooking Lago Maggiore. There are only 14 rooms in total. And a suite. A spacious outdoor terrace, the stunningly beautiful Roof Lounge or the modern restaurant are the perfect venues to celebrate and relax in contemporary style. With our lakefront location, you can’t go wrong. Exclusive rentals are also available on request.

Overview

Directly on the shores of Lake Maggiore sits the most youthful property of the Giardino Group – the Giardino Lago. The colours turquoise and white dominate. This dreamy, trendy boutique hotel is located in the small community of Minusio, not far from Locarno’s boulevard. From the beach of this in-place, you can water-ski, wake-board or explore the shores on one of the hotel-owned stand-up paddles. The restaurant ‘Lago’, which is open all day long, provides a laid-back ambience, grand architecture and a breath-taking view over Lake Maggiore. Cancellations: free of charge up to 10 days prior to arrival. For later cancellations, the booked room price will be charged for up to three nights. The same applies for or late arrival early departure. City tax of CHF 3.25 is charged separately per person per night.
